A New York Times article cites a 'report that quotes Scott Barfield, a Defense Department investigator, saying, "Recruiters are knowingly allowing neo-Nazis and white supremacists to join the armed forces, and commanders don't remove them from the military even after we positively identify them as extremists or gang members."'
Somehow this doesn't suprise me. Paramilitary goon squads are already operating as extensions of recruiting efforts in Tucson (you can read about this at the end of this blog entry.) The freepers even issue "reports" along military lines although this freeper-writer can't seem to decide whether he wants to be a creative writer, propagandist, para -military leader.
